I recently downloaded a Browser called AVANT BROWSER....

I didnt like it so I went back to Microsoft...Everything is Fine except for the fact that whenever I click on a link in OUTLOOK it launches the page using the AVANT browser rather than MICROSOFT...How can I change these settings?

You have Avant set as your default browser.

Like EGD said, you need to uninstall Avant or set IE as your default browser.

Man this is really fuc ked up...

I have reset all defaults....EXPLORER is my default Browser....But whenever I am in Outlook & click on a link I received in an email the Web site gets Launched with AVANT browser...

I am aware I could un-install AVANT browser & this would likely fix the problem, however the reason I have not is due to the fact that it has a feature I like which is when you are opening favorites you have the option of "OPENING ALL FAVORITES IN THIS FOLDER"...I keep all the BOOKS i have funded in that folder & bang, with the touch of the Button They are all launched...All I Have to do is Enter my Passwords...

Any other Browsers offer this kind of feature? DOES IE have this feature I I have just missed it?

Savant, click Favs, then organize favs, then click create a new folder, this will do the same thing as the Avant I believe?

not quite the same thing cheater, but thanks, AVANT offers a feature that allows you to OPEN & LAUNCH all favorites within a specific Folder....So I keep all my Books that I have funded within a special Favorites Folder called FUNDED BOOKS...

Then when I am ready to shop for lines I go to that favorites folder & there is an option there to "OPEN ALL FAVORITES WITHIN THIS FOLDER"...SO I click one Button....& bang...the a web page is launched for each book I am dealing with....

With IE I have to individually click on each favorite to launch them...Takes Longer...

Have you tried MyIe2? I got turned onto it by another gambler. It looks & feels like IE but safer. You can have popups blocked & it comes with an optional password manager called Roboform. Roboform will save all your usernames & passwords so when you visit a site, it will pop up & ask if you want the info filled in & you can have it done. It also has the feature you are talking about in regards to favorites. I have it setup to open all my books at once (I have too many lmfao). I have different groups of sites in different folders. I couldn't live without that feature!

You can get it at www.myie2.com

They are always updating the versions which is nice to see. It is totally free by the way.

"OPENING ALL FAVORITES IN THIS FOlDER"

Try mozilla firefox, you ll never go back to ie, or any other browser for that matter, you going to love tabbed browsing and wonder how you made it without it all along, that and the google search bar, a compact spot right next to the adress bar, which can function as an amazon, wikipedia, or any other major search sit you want bar. There's pop up blocking, download, and password manager, opening bookmarks(favourites) in one window, and even bookmarking them all at once, and plenty of other features, extensions, to add on, such as a web spider, browser notepad, one button history cleaner etc. etc. It's free, open source and vastly supperior than anything else, it comes with tons of skins and is probably the most customizable browser available.

You boys should all give it a go. There's nothing like going opening up a link tab in the background for future viewing while you go on browsing the page you are at.
